Money Materials and a Manner to Manage it all

why do we talk about money and material in church?
you cannot be a follower of christ and be out of control with your money and materials.
Cause God actually talks more about money then anyother topic except for love.

The condition of your money shows the condition of your heart.
Matthew 6:21 "where your treasure is, there your heart would be also."

Jesus never tried to get people's money but he tried to keep people's money from getting them.

GOD's perspective on money and materials.

Luke 16 - There was a rich man whose manager was accused of wasting his possesions. The rich man wanted to get the manager to straighten his accounts and then fire him. The manager siad to himself what shall i do NOW? The manager went to all the people who owed his master money and decreased their debts. The master commended the dishonest manager because he acted shrewdly.

Explanation of the verse.
For the people of this world are more shrewd in dealing with their own kind than are the people of the light. I tell you , use worldly(temporary) possesions to gain friends for yourslefs , so that when it is gone(death) , you eill be welcomed into eternal dwellings.

Use MONEY for a kingdom purpose

Your money and materials are TOOLS for the kingdom

money and materials are given as a test of their TRUSTWORTHINESS
